Sumeet Kanwar
A veteran with over two decades of experience in the Investment Banking industry, Sumeet Kanwar brings a wealth of expertise to his role as CEO at Verity Knowledge Solutions (VKS).
Before assuming the helm at Verity, Sumeet was a Managing Director within the Investment Banking Department at UBS, a prominent Wall Street institution, in New York. Thereafter, he led the charge in overseeing the setting up of the Investment Banking offshoring operations based in Hyderabad, India.
Throughout his distinguished career as a Wall Street banker, Sumeet played a pivotal role in advising on numerous high-profile, multi-billion dollar global mergers and acquisitions transactions.
Sumeet’s educational journey further underscores his dedication to excellence. He graduated with an MBA from the Wharton Business School, where he was in the Director’s Honor List. He also has an MS in Chemical Engineering from the US and a B.E. (Hons) in Chemical Engineering from India underscoring his multidisciplinary expertise and commitment to success.

Sirisha Dasari
Before assuming her role as Chief Operating Officer at Verity in 2009, Sirisha Dasari served as an Associate Director at UBS India Service Center (ISC) in Hyderabad for three years. Her tenure at ISC was marked by her leadership of Healthcare sector team, a pivotal component of initial Investment Banking offshoring endeavor, comprising two teams.
During her time at ISC, she orchestrated substantial growth in the IB offshoring setup. What began with 17 analysts in two teams burgeoned into a formidable force of approximately 180 analysts across nine teams. Her responsibilities encompassed managing client relationships, overseeing training, recruitment, and ensuring seamless operation of all sector teams at ISC.
Sirisha played a pivotal role in the inception of VKS in 2009, bridging vital collaborations with multiple stakeholders of clients including IT, Investment Banking division, L&C, etc., and meticulously overseeing the design and project management of VKS’s new site at Raheja Mindspace in Hyderabad.
With a background in Science and an MBA in Human Resources from Osmania University, Sirisha’s career boasts a remarkable span of 24 years. Her journey also featured a noteworthy stint with Deloitte, where she contributed to the Knowledge Management team, a pioneering effort within Deloitte’s Knowledge vertical in India.
