Enhancing Eye Care Access: Verity’s CSR Initiative with MNC-Lepra Society
At Verity Knowledge Solutions, our commitment to corporate social responsibility (CSR) goes beyond business excellence. We are proud to support the Mahanadi Netra Chikitsalaya (MNC) – Lepra Society, an esteemed eye care center in Western Odisha, through our recent donation of a patient transportation bus and an A-Scan machine.
This initiative aims to significantly enhance the eye care services provided to the Leprosy and underprivileged communities in seven Western Odisha districts, contributing to the fight against avoidable blindness.
Better Access with Patient Transportation
Reaching healthcare facilities can be a challenge for many in remote areas. We have solved this problem by donating a patient transportation bus to MNC. This bus helps bring patients from seven different districts to the hospital for eye treatments, including surgeries. This makes it much easier for underserved populations to get the eye care they need.
Improved Eye Care with the A-Scan Machine
Cataract surgery requires precise measurements, and the A-Scan machine is essential. Our donation of this machine helps MNC perform more accurate cataract surgeries, restoring vision for many patients. With this equipment, MNC can treat 30-40 patients each day, reducing wait times and improving service quality.
Commitment to Community Welfare
Our support to MNC-Lepra Society is not just about providing equipment but about empowering a community and making a tangible difference in the lives of visually impaired patients. By enhancing the capabilities of the most preferred eye care center in Western Odisha, we aim to cater to the eye care needs of a vast population, ensuring they receive prompt and effective treatment.
